Avellano Corylus is further a rare direct male descendant of legendary Armitage (Argentinus - Grannus - Inschallah AA, grandsire of Super Grand Prix Winner Foxy De la Roque with Victor Bettendorf, Luxembourg) and is inbred on Sire of the Century Argentinus, prominent and beloved Sire of numerous Olympic Show Jumping and Olympic Dressage Horses. Avellano Corylus is one of the world's only currently active breeding male descendants of Armitage and Argentinus.
Worldwide, Avellano Corylus is further the only son (Elite foal) of Belgian powerhouse Armison (1m60 Armitage - 1m60 Cicero Z van Paemel - 1m60 Skippy II - Feo de Lauzelle) to stand at stud.
Armison has achieved the top score 10 for jumping ability and one of the highest clear-round consistencies. He is from outstanding Belgian lines, is bred by World Cup breeder Pierre Vanderlinden, and has provided his son Avellano Corylus with the heritage of Hanoverian sire Feo de Lauzelle.
